Our mission: To provide space for artists to work, to learn, and to share their expertise with the public.

How we do this: We rent a large space that can be divided into functional and private studio areas. We then rent portions of our space to artists, leaving other areas open for shared use. In the shared space, we can learn from each other. We also have classes and workshops as one way of sharing our expertise with the public. Another way we do this is through various open-CASA events where both the finished work and some of the processes involved in achieving that finished work can be shown.

In order to join CASA, artists must pass a jurying-in process administered by our artists-in-residence. This assures that those who have access to CASA space are serious about their art, have achieved sufficient skill to be safe and courteous studio-partners, and are producing an artistic product that meets standards for serious art.
