
There are approximately thirty artist-members of Creative Artists' Studios of Ames, most of them renting space to work in. Some of the artists have day-jobs or professional careers in other areas than art; others are full-time professional artists. This means some people are usually at CASA in the evening or on weekends while others are there during weekdays.

Ames, IA 50010, www.octagonarts.org. The Octagon offers classes and workshops on a regular schedule, and hosts exhibits in downtown Ames. Octagon programs have played an important role in the founding and growth of CASA.
