Creative Artists' Studios of Ames, Inc. (nicknamed "CASA") is a non-profit corporation in the state of Iowa. Our mission is "to provide space for artists to work, to learn, and to share their expertise with the public". We have approximately 30 artist-members, most of them renting space in our building at 130 S. Sheldon, Ames IA 50014. (Map)
An important part of our educational mission is to provide opportunities for the public to visit the studios. Rather than scheduling a regular weekly open time, we invite the public to visit us by appointment, and at our publicized events. Throughout the year, the public is invited to attend Open Studio events, workshops, demonstrations and other educational opportunities presented by our artists and invited guest artists.
The easiest way to be sure to find out what is happening at CASA is to email us at: Info (at) creativeartists.org. Ask to be added to the CASA email list, and in a few days you should recieve a note. Email newsnotes go out whenever there is news - that is usually every 2-3 weeks.
